Jim McGreevey – Another GAY Democratic Governor bites the dust

Question:

Looks like the gay and non-Christain (sic) Governor, Jim McGreevey likes the "twink meat". How come Republican Governors like Arnold are accused of groping women and Democrat Governors prefer to "slurp" on "twink meat" and hate Christains (sic)? Tell us, Augustine "Twink Meat" Aubrey.

Response:

Looks like the gay and non-Christain (sic) Governor, Jim McGreevey  likes the "twink meat". It’s OK, Little Stevie.  You can keep enjoying the taste of your ‘twink meat’.  Just don’t swallow the gravy, it can give you Hepatitis-C. Oh, you already knew that?  Sorry….  : ) Next time rub it on the bald spot, you never know!!!!!

Response:

Boehner blocks Pelosi’s investigation resolution: Surprise! Now there’s a boner! Republican Party Chairman Sam Walls, who is married, was urged to drop his candidacy for Congress when it was found he likes to dress up -n women’s clothing. http://www.armchairsubversive.com/sam_walls7.jpg well, ok. I’ve been on record as saying that men in skirts are sexy but this isn’t what I had in mind. I was thinking something more along these lines –  http://www.utilikilts.com/ get yours here  http://www.armchairsubversive.com/sam_walls7.jpg

" Next time rub it on the bald spot, you never know!!!!!  It worked for you Howie… right..??"  :-)  Ciao’ Nah, Genie, no hair issues here.  How about yourself? I notice you like wearing a hat.  *Indoors*!  Now ‘there’s’ a dead give away! Not to mention rude! So tell us, is it true that male patern baldness comes from the maternal grandfather? Don’t be shy, inquiring minds want to know! cheers…

BREAKING: Sherwood (R-PA:10) Settles Choking Suit After proclaiming his innocence and trying to delay his trial until after the election, mistress-choker Don Sherwood (R-PA) has settled his lawsuit.  In a secret deal, Sherwood bought Cynthia Ore’s silence. According to the agreement, neither side will address this issue publicly. Secret settlements are basically an admission of guilt. Even a former Bush and Santorum staffer agrees: Also it seems Sherwood will not settle this lawsuit. If he settles you know he is guilty if he goes to court who knows the truth really no matter which way the verdict goes. Finally Ore does not want to Settle. Her Family is loaded. Congressman Sherwood has no intention of leveling with voters about his behavior (and he never did!). Somehow, the records on the night of the abuse have disappeared and Sherwood is not going to face criminal prosecution.  Now, Sherwood has paid for his mistress’ silence.  The only way this abuser will be held responsible for his actions is at the ballot box. Sherwood’s behavior and his voting record have put one of the reddest districts in the country in play.  For the first time since Sherwood gerrymandered his district to give himself a permanent seat in Congress, he faces a real challenger.  Chris Carney, a professor of International Affairs at Penn-State and a Lt. Commander in the Naval Reserves has stepped up to challenge the mistress-choker. The differences are crystal clear. Sherwood cheats on his wife and beats his mistress. Chris is a devoted husband and father of 5. Don Sherwood is a car salesman turned career politician. Chris has never run for political office. Since September 11th, Sherwood has traveled to DC to have an affair and to vote to put Congress in the middle of the Terri Schiavo case. Since September 11th, Chris has traveled from the 10th district to serve his country at the Pentagon, in Korea, and in Saudi Arabia. Sherwood has a vast personal fortune to pay off his mistress and to blow on his campaign against Chris. Chris is running a grassroots campaign and is reliant on small contributors to take on Don Sherwood. The Carney for Congress campaign needs all the help it can get in very conservative district.  Democrats have a chance not only to strike into the heart of Republican territory, we also have the chance to knock a despicable excuse for a human being out of Congress. The case against Sherwood was for $5.5 million. https://secure.democracyinaction.com/dia/organizations/carney06/shop/… http://www.huffingtonpost.com/cliff-schecter/republican-sexcapades-me… This is, very simply, emblematic of the current state of the GOP, a once proud party of Lincoln and Teddy Roosevelt that has devolved into an elected membership comprised of racists, criminals, self-haters and perverts. Am I exaggerating? I think not. I’ll leave the Neo-Confederates such as George Allen and the Abramoffers such as Bob Ney for another column. Let’s just talk about the latter two categories. Former Representative Ed Schrock of Virginia, who sponsored anti-gay legislation in the House, was caught in 2004 making calls to a homosexual phone-sex operation. http://rawstory.com/exclusives/byrne/schrock_resigns_gay_phone_sex_ta… He then resigned without comment much like Foley. Hate yourself much Ed? See Mayor Jim West of Spokane for a very similar story http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/local/223201_west06.html to the one currently bedeviling poor Mark Foley, who was still Chairing the House Caucus on Missing and Exploited children as of last week. You want to find adultery among these miscreant moralizers? Why go no further then Pennsylvania Representative Don Sherwood, who thought it wasn’t good enough to just cheat on his wife with a women in her 20s (he’s in his 60s), but decided to try and choke her for extra credit. Or Representative Steve LaTourette of Ohio, who didn’t only cheat on his wife of 28 years with an aide, but set her up with a nice little shop that lobbied a committee on which he sat (Transportation). The piles of money she made was helpful though, as it most likely helped pay his rent as she was living with him. http://dir.salon.com/story/news/feature/2004/10/05/lobbyist/index.html Divorce you say. Ok, well here’s a math problem for you. What do you get when you add the divorces of Newt Gingrich + Rush Limbaugh + Bob Barr? A hint, you’re almost in double digits. This is today’s GOP. The family values crowd in all their glory. It is the reason I started doing a weekly segment on The Young Turks called "Republican Sexcapades" (you may be familiar with the insightful analysis of Cenk Uygur, one of The Young Turks’ hosts, on this very site). Because somebody had to point out their sexual hypocrisy on a weekly basis.

The magnitude of an electric current is defined as the time derivative of electric charge. Conventional current was defined early in the history of electrical science as a flow of positive charge. In solid metals, like wires, the positive charges are immobile, and only the negatively charged electrons flow in the direction opposite conventional current, but this is not the case in most non-metallic conductors. In other materials, charged particles flow in both directions at the same time. Current density is a measure of the density of electrical current. It is defined as a vector whose magnitude is the electric current per cross-sectional area. In SI unit, the current density is measured in amperes per square meter.

Foxes in the henhouse is the rule, rather than the exception. Five-and-a-half years, and they’re drunk with power. It’s a tragic corruption of the party’s cause. And they have no one to blame but themselves. They run all the branches, a majority of the governorships, and have the mouthpieces of talk radio and the biggest cable news outfit to distribute their talking points. Not to mention an enfeebled and confused Democratic party to dominate. When it rains in politics, it pours, and the Foley scandal is spilling quickly over onto the House Republican Leadership — particularly Tom Reynolds, the Erie County-based chairman of the National Republican Campaign Committee who faces his own, serious, challenge from a protectionist maverick Democrat, Jack Davis. Reynolds is now in something approaching open war with the Speaker of the House amid recriminations over who know what when. (Josh Marshall has running, detailed, partisan-but-fair coverage.) In that context, a reader emails a piece of information that strikes me as very bad news for Reynolds: He may have given Foley money after he was told of the allegations. Reynolds’s personal PAC, TOMPAC, wrote Foley a check for $5,000 on May 10, 2006. (You can see the filing here.) http://blogs.nydailynews.com/dailypolitics/archives/documents/reynold… According to the AP, Reynolds was told of the allegations against Foley "sometime this spring." I put in a request to NRCC spokesman Carl Forti for a more precise date. accepted an unusually large contribution of $100,000 from Foley. That true.  Ford can do what they want.  But when they cancel a *successful* advertising plan based on pressure from a right-wing hate organization then it’s time to make that known to the general public and let them appropriately reap all the bad press.  Would they consider not having black people in their ads or giving corporate donations to charities that primarily help blacks because of pressure from the KKK?   Would you do business with them if they did? That’s what this is about. G

Doug, if people don’t address these "issues" as individuals, then the issues become non-issues and the next thing you know they’re an acceptable part of society, then they become legislated, then we’re back to making birth control illegal and bashing gays. Because they don’t in all cases?  Because there’s a distinction in many cases between "homicide" and "feticide"?  Because people can make a distinction between a right to not have a pregnancy interrupted by force and preventing a woman from choosing not to be pregnant?  Because almost all the laws that change assault on a pregnant woman into something closer to murder have been enacted in the last couple of years as part of a plan by the forced-incubation movement to slowly take away a woman’s right to choose what she does with her body? Perhaps there’s military pension being issued and you could have a message forwarded via that route, with a bit of cooperation from the army bureaucracy of course. > He was born in 79 so saying he’s a child is way off.

He might use your last name, Carmen’s maiden name or her husband’s name, and I would think Canada is a likely place to search. It’s also possible that he goes by his middle name or has Anglacized his name to Mark (I know, I’m making the search broader rather than narrower, but if you have no leads after all this time maybe you should be looking in a different direction). Have you looked at university, even high school, registration & grad lists in a likely timeframe? Have you contacted German and Canadian depts. of vital statistics? Perhaps Carmen is/was bitter enough to never want to hear from you again and this is why no one is giving you any information, and perhaps your son was told that you’re dead (not uncommon in these situations) and has no idea you’re looking for him. This would make finding him more difficult, but not impossible. You might consider hiring a private detective or a skip tracer to do some of this research for you. They can get easier access to drivers licence info and other such stuff that’s not available to "the general public." Good luck, Paul. Waterspider

Response:

Some good ideas there WS, thank you. Yeah, I haven’t ruled out that Carmen might have just avoided all kinds of "problems" and told him I was dead. I also think that she married when Marcus was fairly young and might have raised him to believe her husband was the Dad. All kinds of scenarios crop up in my mind…. November can be particularly hard because this is his birth month. I would just love to meet him if only for a short time to tell him that I’m sorry and that he is loved. Well, don’t give up. Another scenario is that he doesn’t know you exist, still another is that he knows he has a biological dad out there somewhere and doesn’t know how to get in touch with you. Of course you’re risking that the meeting may be unpleasant; he may harbour all kinds of bitterness against you. So be it, though; my belief is that everyone deserves to know the truth. In the UK, the Salvation Army used to do searches like this.  Maybe they (or the equivalent where you are) could help you.  It’s possible that they only use the same methods that you have though. — Paul Use the reply by email facility in your newsreader to send email

Yes, you need to tread carefully even if you do manage to trace this person.  It’s a huge can of worms that you may be trying to open – especially if they believe someone else to be their father.  It could have major repercussions on someones life. Just a footnote here from my own father’s experience.  He was adopted when he was a few weeks old (his mother was a single mum in the 1920s which was uncool back then)  Also, she was only 14 years older than him.  He managed to track her down when he got to his mid 30s (I have faint recollections of this).  It turned out that he had 11 half brothers and 1 half sister and she was on her third marriage.  She was a drunk, a cheat, and her swearing would embarass a trooper.  She was fun in a way though.  After a few years he stopped going to see her. I found out later that this was probably because she never revealed who his father was (maybe she didn’t actually know). The day he found her was the day before a family wedding and she asked him to keep quiet about who he was until after the wedding (not hers LOL) as she didn’t want anything to take attention away from the wedding.  Her husband didn’t know about him (not surprising really as there was no need for him to). I lost track many years ago of her and all the half uncles etc.  I imagine she’s probably dead now as she would be about 90 and she drank like a fish. — Paul Use the reply by email facility in your newsreader to send email

Yes, there is always the chance of a undesired outcome. But the potential for healing is tremendous. With anything there is a risk………I just put myself in his shoes……..I would choose rather to know, than not know. And of course if I ever did locate him I wouldn’t just bang down the door and announce myself. I would try to do some investigating and treading gently, but eventually reveal myself and my deep regrets and apologies. It’s in God’s hands…………..His will be done. Not to get into another religious discussion here, but it’s in *your* hands. You can choose to continue your search, and the likelihood of success is directly proportional to the amount of time and money you choose to dedicate to it. Even though the outcome may not be what you hoped, I hope you don’t give up, both for your sake and your son’s (he –everyone– deserves the truth). There’s this old saying, "best not to die wondering…" All the best to you, Waterspider

Yeah, don’t rely on a spell-checker because it lets wrong "real words" through its filter, i.e. bling. You see, everyone’s confused about spell-checkers; the original (designed by a wiccan group in Silicon Valley) tested spells for their accuracy and it worked fine for its purpose. Only problem is, the technology was stolen by the grand wizard of the Hells Gates coven and he marketed it to the general pubic. Yes, pubic. That’s what happens when you trust a spell-checker to find spelling mistakes. You’ll notice that "eye of newt" is never mis-spelled though, and now you know the reason why. WS

Hi Mags.  I had a terrible time with eye trouble the first half of tx. My vision blurred badly, partly from the interferon and partly from fatigue-related amblyopia (wandering eye that I didn’t even know i had before tx).  I also had bad light sensitvity.  Over time I found that much of it was related to the shot and wore off as the shot wore off. My eyes were bloodshot and irritated all the time.  All of that has cleared up except I think I’ve had a general decline in my focus, eg. I need stronger glasses to read.  Interferon can cause optic nerve damage called interferon retinopathy, which causes blind spots (sometimes permanent) that are called "cotton wool spots."  i’ve been seing an opthamalogist every 3 months and don’t have any serious damage.  if you think you are having blind spots or wavy patches, get thee to an opthamalogist. One of the things that blasted me mentally early on in tx was not being able to differentiate between effects of the disease and toxic effects of the treatment.  It was confusing and scary. You just have to kind of wrestle with that one and try to remember what your symptoms were before you started ts. Kathy

I was diagnosed at age 47 with Retinitas  Pigmentosa after my first 48 weeks of tx. I now see a retina specialist at least once a year. RP is supposed to be heriditary, affects most peolple in their teens or twenties and is a progressive disease. When I was preparing for my second more aggressive round of tx (week 28 now), I had him take photos of my retinas to document the damage. Just saw him recently and my optic nerves are fine and the RP hasn’t really progressed, since it was diagnosed. Not even during this round of tx. Sometimes I kick stuff and I do have some loss of peripheral vision. But it has not been a problem. My eyes did ache (along with the rest of my head) during the first 14-15 weeks of tx. That is much better now. I would recommend an eye exam, they can  do a color test for optic nerve damage and a peripheral vision test to see if you have problems with that. Good luck, SES

It may not be serious, but please have it checked out. Some tx sides are only transient and clear up by themselves, but some can lead to permanent damage when left untreated. Only your eye doc can tell the difference. And despite your plea for no jokes… I don’t think going bling would be that bad. Going blind, though… ;-) Thomas — To reach me, complete my last name in the address.

The TX does that and it goes away afterwards, in fact sometimes it goes away quicker.
