Caffeine and treatment

Aw Cody, stop beating around the bush willya! Just kidding… The only paradox I’ve found in the no-caffeine thing is with green tea; it’s a documented anti-carcinogen recommended for hep c patients, but it contains an amount, albeit small, of caffeine. Waterspider

I was wondering if anyone knew for sure if it’s not good for someone on interferon/ribavirin treatment to avoid caffeine products. I know my dr said to avoid caffeine because it makes you pee more and maybe get dehydrated, but can’t an arguement be made that as long as you drink other things too that the caffeine would make you eliminate the toxins sooner/better.
